【摘要】:ThepHlevelofacarbonblackisknowntoaffectthevulcanizationofsomerubbercompounds.1.1Thesetestmethods,TestMethodA-BoilingSlurryandTestMethodB-SonicSlurry,areusedtoindicatethepHofthecarbonblacksurfacebymeasuringthepHofwaterincontactwiththecarbonblack.Note1ThepHofthecarbonblackisoftenusedinthisindustrytoindicatetherelativeacidityoralkalinityofcarbonblackandwillbeusedintheremainderofthesetestmethodstodescribethisproperty.Note2TestMethodAandTestMethodBdonotalwaysgivethesameresults.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
