【摘要】:1.1Thisguidecoversproceduresforobtaininglaboratorydatatoevaluatetheadverseeffectsofcontaminants(forexample,chemicalsorbiomolecules)associatedwithsoiltoearthworms(FamilyLumbricidae)andpotworms(FamilyEnchytraeidae)fromsoiltoxicityorbioaccumulationtests.Themethodsaredesignedtoassesslethalorsublethaltoxiceffectsonearthwormsorbioaccumulationofcontaminantsinshort-termtests(7to28days)oronpotwormsinshorttolong-termtests(14to42days)interrestrialsystems.Soilstobetestedmaybe(1)referencesoilsorpotentiallytoxicsitesoils;(2)artificial,reference,orsitesoilsspikedwithcompounds;(3)sitesoilsdilutedwithreferencesoils;or(4)siteorreferencesoilsdilutedwithartificialsoil.TestproceduresaredescribedforthespeciesEiseniafetida(see)andforthespeciesEnchytraeusalbidus(see).Methodsdescribedinthisguidemayalsobeusefulforconductingsoiltoxicitytestswithotherlumbricidandenchytraeidterrestrialspecies,althoughmodificationsmaybenecessary.1.2Modificationoftheseproceduresmightbejustifiedbyspecialneeds.Theresultsoftestsconductedusingatypicalproceduresmaynotbecomparabletoresultsusingthisguide.Comparisonofresultsobtainedusingmodifiedandunmodifiedversionsoftheseproceduresmightprovideusefulinformationconcerningnewconceptsandproceduresforconductingsoiltoxicityandbioaccumulationtestswithterrestrialworms.1.3Theresultsfromfield-collectedsoilsusedintoxicityteststodetermineaspatialortemporaldistributionofsoiltoxicitymaybereportedintermsofthebiologicaleffectsonsurvivalorsublethalendpoints(seeSection).Theseprocedurescanbeusedwithappropriatemodificationstoconductsoiltoxicitytestswhenfactorssuchastemperature,pH,andsoilcharacteristics(forexample,particlesize,organicmattercontent,andclaycontent)areofinterestorwhenthereisaneedtotestsuchmaterialsassewagesludgeandoils.Thesemethodsmightalsobeusefulforconductingbioaccumulationtests.1.4Theresultsoftoxicitytestswith(1)materials(forexample,chemicalsorwastemixtures)addedexperimentallytoartificialsoil,referencesoils,orsitesoils,(2)sitesoilsdilutedwithreferencesoils,and(3)siteorreferencesoilsdilutedwithartificialsoil,soastocreateaseriesofconcentrations,maybereportedintermsofanLC50(medianlethalconcentration)andsometimesanEC50(medianeffectconcentration).TestresultsmaybereportedintermsofNOEC(noobservedeffectconcentration),LOEC(lowestobservedeffectconcentration)orasanECx(concentrationwherex%reductionofabiologicaleffectoccurs.BioaccumulationtestresultsarereportedasthemagnitudeofcontaminantconcentrationaboveeithertheDay0tissuebaselineanalysisortheDay28tissuesfromthenegativecontrolorreferencesoil(thatis,2,5,10)(see).1.5Thisguideisarrangedasfollows:ScopeReferencedDocumentsTerminologySummaryofGuideSignificanceandUseInterferencesApparatusSafetyPrecautionsSoilTestOrganismProcedureAnalyticalMethodologyAcceptabilityofTestCalculationofResultsReportAnnexes.Eiseniafetida.ArtificialSoilComposition.BioaccumulationTestingUtilizingEiseniafetida.Enchytra......
